Simour’s brief for the My Houston Surgeons medspa was to create a space that felt less like a treatment center and more like a luxury retreat somewhere guests come to be cared for and leave feeling restored. The team built it around a concept they called Elevated Tranquil: indulgent, glamorous detail balanced with the grounded ease of a place made for relaxation.
The intention was for the environment itself to be part of the experience. Rich, tactile materials set the tone of brass and metallic finishes, crystal lighting, marble and quartz surfaces, fluted walnut, and a refined palette of white and grey lifted by the brand’s signature purple. The luxury is deliberate, but it’s carried with warmth: textured upholstery, natural materials, and a transitional style that feels elegant without ever turning cold or clinical.
Every space was designed to feel considered. A welcoming reception and lounge replace the standard waiting room with a real sense of arrival; the consultation, massage, and treatment rooms were planned for privacy and ease; even the IV room was given jewel-toned wallcovering and detailing, so no part of the visit feels purely functional. The flow from one room to the next is intuitive and unhurried.
The impact is a medspa that turns self-care into an experience. By pairing genuine luxury with comfort and ease, the design makes guests feel valued and indulged from the moment they walk in a place where beauty and wellness feel like one and the same, exactly as the practice intended.
