For Dr. Payam Jarrah-Nejad Dr. J the goal was a plastic surgery practice that felt as refined and considered as the work itself: elegant, comfortable, and unmistakably luxurious. Simour’s role was to translate that ambition into a space that makes patients feel cared for and at ease from the moment they arrive.
The design answered with a concept called Modern Luxury, a toned-down, contemporary take on the glamour of 1920s Art Deco. Rather than going loud or ornate, the look balances reflective and matte finishes for a feeling of quiet richness: classic white wall paneling paired with a striking Art Deco accent wall, glazed stone floors softened by plush floor coverings, and linear fixtures in matte gold and mirror. The effect is warm and inviting, luxurious without ever feeling cold or intimidating.
Every choice was made to support both comfort and confidence. The materials feel elevated but welcoming, so patients sharing personal goals feel they’re in expert, attentive hands. The layout was planned around how the practice actually runs a front office built for genuine patient connection, considering the flow between consultation and treatment so the space works as beautifully as it looks.
The impact is a practice that feels like a destination: polished, calming, and quietly glamorous. By starting from Dr. J’s vision of modern, comfortable luxury and giving it a clear design language, Simour created a space that reflects the quality of his work and puts patients at ease proof that the right environment makes people feel confident before treatment even begins.
