For Dr. John Diaz, the goal for his Beverly Hills practice wasn’t loud opulence; it was a space that felt warm, calm, and genuinely comforting, where patients feel at ease and empowered the moment they arrive. Simour’s role was to bring that vision to life, refining his Roxbury Drive practice into a space as considered and reassuring as the care itself.
The design answered with a concept called Luxury Soft, a palette of soft, muted browns, whites, and blues, grounded in natural ash wood and white marble. Rather than going bold, the look leans into texture and carefully curated hues for a feeling of modern elegance that stays gentle and inviting. The result is sophisticated but never cold: timeless, serene, and built around comfort.
That intention runs through every space. A welcoming lounge anchors the experience, with a relocated marble check-in counter, a textured logo wall with a lit niche and bar-seating ledge, and soft, layered lighting that replaces the old hard ceiling and chandelier. A recurring women’s-silhouette artwork motif threads through the lounge and consultation areas, giving the practice a signature identity, while private consultation offices complete with discreet patient-change areas, a leaning mirror, and a seat let patients feel respected and at ease during vulnerable moments. Even the restroom was treated as a spa-like retreat in ash brown and soft gray.
The impact is a practice that feels like a calm, elevated sanctuary rather than a clinic warm, dignified, and reassuring at every step. By starting from Dr. Diaz’s vision of soft, comfortable luxury and shaping every detail around it, Simour created a space that puts patients at ease and reflects the care and sophistication of the work itself.
